Ten years later in 1996 Trident Electric, Inc. was asked to consider installing CCTV and EAS systems for a major retail store chain in the southeast.

What was suppose to be a year project turned out to be a 10 year working relationship where Trident Electric, Inc. has installed over 10,000 cameras, 600 EAS systems and various other security devices and systems.

These systems were installed in 11 different states with a travel radius of a thousand miles.

As the technology changed Trident Electric, Inc. had to change with it. Now today instead of a recording system consisting of VCR , Multiplexer and video tape the industry has moved forward to the DVR (digital video recorder).

This highly specialized computer was in the domain of major corporations with their proprietary control systems.

Today, at last, is a system that is non-proprietary, windows based, user friendly, that allows the customer to control, record and expand his system without the involvement or service agreement of the big name systems.

It was decided in 2005 that Trident Electric, Inc. would create Trident Video Security to sell, install and service the public with high quality DVRs , using the finest video control system on the market.

Our basic system is what others consider their high end system. It has 500 gig of storage and the ability to monitor 16 cameras. The customer only needs to decide how many cameras they want, what type of camera they want, and where they want them.

With the advent of high speed internet connection, owners of Trident Video Security systems can view and control their own settings without additional service charges.
